I've slept in nr. 3, Asakusa capsule hotel. Pretty ok, not as weird as it first seems. The capsules are pretty spacious, so there is no claustrophobic effect or anything. Great place to sleep at if you want to live close to the electronics/anime/porn-district, Akihabara.

I would probably stay in any of them except for the 2nd one cause i'm a bit claustrophobic and i know for a fact that the ice one costs a fortune, so I'd go for an all expenses paid hotel of one of them! Lol :)

Well first I would like to say that the -10 ice room wouldn't be that brutal, seeing as I live in Canada where it's always -25 or lower (damn global warming) and second of all, that don't look like no "industrial" room to me (seeing as it has a lot of ropes and chains, and it's in germany......just pointing that out)

Ive slept in number one. Its actually really cool. The opening is 25ish feet under water and you have to be scuba certified to use it. I stayed there for 24 hours and did some awesome dives. Id recommend it to any scuba certified person.
